Alexandra Cochrane, Founder and CEO, ScandiLabs
This month, we had the opportunity to sit down with Alexandra Cochrane, founder and owner of Scandilabs. She shared the story of how her company Scandilabs was born, what her brand stands for, the benefits of her product and the company’s future.
At the age of 20, Alexandra moved to London to pursue a career as a flight attendant for British Airways. While initially planning to return to Sweden to study economics, she fell in love with her career and the plans quickly changed.
Despite achieving her career goals, Alexandra struggled with low self-confidence due to past experiences of bullying in school. These experiences led her to adopt unhealthy lifestyle habits in order to; what she thought would appear more attractive.
At age 24, she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Refusing to accept a lifetime with medication, she decided to take matters into her own hands and embarked on a journey of self-healing. This involved identifying the optimal nutrition, supplements, sleep habits, and breathing exercises. She later got a degree as Certified Health Coach with The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York.
Alexandra found that supplements, particularly with liposomal vitamins; vitamin C, D and K, was particularly effective in assisting her recovery and improving her overall health. With a newfound understanding of the importance of proper nutrition and self-care, she continued to implement these practices in her daily life and ultimately achieved a state of optimal health.
Inspired by her own way of living for the past 20 years, she decided to start her own company. Scandilab was founded and the first product, Immune Formula+, was developed. The product is effective at preventing illness and building the immune system because of the liposomal delivery systems ability to absorb efficiently.
In the future Alexandra hopes to be able to keep helping her customers achieve a better standard of living. In her own words, “You can take back control of your health, and you do not have to be a slave to big pharma. My message is that your body, given the right tools, wants to heal itself.”
