A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Sommarfest at the Scandinavian Church and Center! The event was a true success with music, laughter, and the best of Swedish summer traditions. From decorating and raising the maypole to dancing and enjoying fika, there was something for everyone. Children delighted in the crafts, tipsrunda, and fiskdamm, while families and friends gathered for picnics and smörgåstårta.
We’re incredibly grateful to our co-hosting partners: SWEA Florida, The Swedish Church, The Swedish School, and the Consulate of Sweden. Thank you for your collaboration and support in making this day so special. And most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us. We loved seeing so many familiar and new faces come together as a community.
